Philips Onsite HeartStart Defibrillator
The Philips HeartStart is the only AED that does not require a doctor’s prescription which makes it a clear choice for home, church, or business.  The Philips Onsite HeartStart Defibrillator is an easy to use AED that provides the caregiver clear and natural voice instructions guiding you through each step of the process.   The HeartStart AED will sense when a shock is needed and simply pressing the flashing orange “Shock” button will deliver a low-energy biphasic shock to the heart. 

The HeartStart Onsite Pads are perfectly matched for the HeartStart AED which will sense the actions of the caregiver and communicate back to the AED in real-time what actions are needed.  There are two options for Smart Pads, the Adult Smart Pads, and the Infant / Child Pads.  Both sets of Pads are packaged in an easy-to-use cartridge with a built in “pull handle”.  This design makes it easy for the caregiver to snap the cartridge into the Philips Onsite and it’s ready for use.

Philips FRx Defibrillator
The Philips FRx AED was built on the same proven technology as the HeartStart Onsite and provides the Smart Biphasic technology and voice commands and visual interface.  The FRx is slightly larger at just 3.5 pounds, but what really separates the FRx is it’s rugged design and its ability to survive harsh conditions such as jetting water, one meter drops, and weight loads of 500 pounds making it the AED of choice for first responders and emergency medical services personnel.   The FRx Defibrillator is extensively tested to ensure reliability with over 85 tests verify functionality and calibration of its internal systems.  

Use the FRx in conjunction with the FRx aviation battery for a complete package to be stored on airplanes in the event of an emergency.

The Philips FRx Smart Pads are usable for both Adult and Infant / Child in conjunction with the Child Key.  The Child Key converts the adult FRx pads so they can be used on children under 8 years of age, or under 55 pounds.  This makes it easy for caregivers who only need to purchase one type of pad eliminating the complexity of carrying two types.
